Before I even stepped foot in Morocco or began any expedition, there was many things that had to happen. First, my team and I had to train our mind & body to what “possibly” could happen. There is nothing like training yourself to be ready for various types of weather, a variety of terrain, or learning multiple skill sets, that you MIGHT experience. Everything that was going to happen on the expedition was in the dark. My team & I prepared for everything that we thought could possibly be a part of the expedition. We hiked, ran for miles up & down hills, trained in the ocean, and most importantly took a trip to Joshua Tree National Park to learn how to rock climb.
We prepared for the worst, but between me & you, Expedition Impossible was harder. Luckily, we are athletes and we were able to adapt to whatever Mark Burnett threw our way. Tune into ABC every Thursday at 9p beginning June 23rd.
